Eckford Street Studio with us this Sunday, Dec 22 from 4-6pm. Come check out artwork by the tots of ARTLAB and big kids of Art After School, and help us paint a blizzard on the front window! There will be snacks and activities, and this event is FREE and open to everyone!
Registration is open for Winter programming beginning in January. There is still space in Tuesday and Thursday Art After School, and most ARTLAB sections. We also have a couple new offerings: a Monday morning ARTLAB Junior class, and Open Studio Sundays for all artists ages 1-10!

Offered by Birth Day Presence, this class is designed to prepare expectant parents for the labor experience. Infant, Child and Adult CPR Training and Certification, Saturday, Jan 11th, 1-3:30pm, $80-$100, Sign up here. Provided by Baby Be Safe, this class is intended for Moms, Dads, nannies, or anybody else who watches your baby or cares for your family. You will learn the skills for prevention, recognition, and treatment for choking (Heimlich), respiratory, and cardiac emergencies (CPR) for infants and children. There will also be hands on practice using infant and children mannequins. Take advantage of this excellent opportunity to either learn for the first time or to brush up on your infant CPR and first aid skills.

In this 1.5-hour workshop, parents will learn about speech and language development from infancy through the first 2 years. We will review what to expect across each age range, and provide useful and enjoyable activities, songs and routines to enhance your baby’s development. Welcome expectant, new, or curious parents!

Learn techniques to help soothe and calm your baby, develop a deeper bond, and nurture baby's body and mind development through touch. In this infant massage workshop, we will also explore sleep rituals using massage, and techniques to address congestion, colic, and digestive issues. For babies 6 weeks to pre-rolling.

Want to learn how to balance life with both? This seminar will cover what your dog needs to learn in order to accept this new lifestyle, keep your baby safe, and keep chaos away! It will also help you understand the best way to introduce your dog to your newborn, and how to help them bond for a lifelong relationship.

BirthFocus understands the process involved in choosing the right doula to join women and their families on a most intimate experience, the birth of a baby! At this FREE “Eat, Drink, DOULA” open houses, they give pregnant women, and their partners, a chance to learn more about their doula practice and to connect intimately with several doulas through one on one interviews. They lovingly refer to these events as "speed dating for doulas" as each expecting couple will have a chance to meet with 4-5 doulas, of varying experience levels, throughout the event.
