Holiday Renegade Craft Fair!

I love this fair and was traveling this past summer for it’s first run at East River State Park. So imagine my delight when Celine sent us a little note that they  will be having their first Holiday Fair this weekend. So excited! What I love most is I can tire my son out at the park, then stroll, shop and take in all the amazing artists to be found at this creative gem of a fair. If you’re worried about being cold, don’t, the tents are heated! Click here for a map and info on workshops.

DIY ♥ Painted Tights

These painted tights are such a sweet way to personalize your child’s style. You really can do this with anything and make a stencil of some of your child’s favorite symbols or characters. It is also a smart way in covering up stains on clothes. My sister in law is really into crafting onto tees and clothes and has built up my confidence that it is something I can partake in. I have started to fabric paint on canvas bags and I am working myself up to my son’s worn but still wear-able clothes.

For the ♥ tights:

What you need:

  • Tights
  • Fabric paint
  • An X-acto knife
  • Cardstock
  • A paintbrush
