Easter Egg Hunts this weekend!

Just a reminder about the a couple local Easter Egg Hunts!

1) Town Square is hosting their 1st Easter Egg Hunt @ McGolrick Park TOMORROW.
There will be lots of fun, dancing, along with arts & crafts and refreshments.
Tickets: $5 per person (with babies under 1 free)
OR $3 per person if you bring a party snack
All proceeds will be split between Town Square, The Church of the Messiah and McGolrick Park.

10:00 AM ~ Egg Hunt at McGolrick Park (Free)

10:45 AM to 1pm ~ Party at The Church
of the Messiah, 129 Russell Street, Greenpoint

2) Sunday, April 8the Greenpoint Reform Church will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and party after their 11am worship celebration.
Worship will feature a fabulous jazz band. If you’d like to sing in the choir, come to rehearsal after church on Palm Sunday. The post-worship party will feature lots of food, music and activities. Our hope is that it’s a community-built Easter dinner potluck party for everyone. If you have ideas for arts projects or other things to do, please email Pastor Ann at ann(at)greenpointchurch(.)org. Here’s what’s already planned:
11-12 Worship (great music, children’s time, Sunday school & nursery for little ones)
12-3 delicious food for everyone (please feel free to bring a dish to share)
12-12:30 Easter egg hunt for kids
12:30-1:30 Puppetshow with fabulous Sara from Puppetsburg
1:30-3 children’s art projects
1-3 It’s almost opening day of baseball season, print your own Amelie Mancini-designed baseball card on our letterpress with help from letterpress guru Earl Kallemeyn.
2:30-3:30 dessert contest (bring your best dessert, there will be prizes for the winners)
4-7pm help prepare and serve an Easter meal for our homeless and hungry neighbors
