Mom Support
I recently read an article about Mom Corps a staffing agency started in 2005 by Allison O’Kelly. Allison’s goal was to establish an agency where working parents can find flexible schedules such as part-time, seasonal and temporary. Full time is also offered, Mom corps now has 15 locations. I think this is a brilliant idea and I hope that more agencies such as these crop up. I would love to see a staffing agency that caters to the creative fields since our neighborhood seems to have a large group of moms who are designers, artists, editors- often a group who is overlook in the staffing department.
