Repurposing a toddler mattress for a daybed....
We had to move things around this weekend, my husband fashioned the toddler mattress by our (non working) fire mantle. My son and I instantly gravitated to this little nook area..Hanging out, staring at our tree, cuddling. Our last daybed didn’t quite make it and we’re still not ready for a larger bed for my son so I have been saving for a nice daybed. One that can be used after he is done with it and I can move it to a little reading nook or by our office area. I’m not sure where the yellow daybed is from (second photo) but love it however my money is on the last pic. This Caravan Divan is from Kalon Studios and is meant to turn from a bed to a couch for your growing child’s room. It’s available in six finishes and it’s absolutely perfect and fits right into our aesthetic.
