Best places to celebrate the holidays!

We are in full holiday mode here! Going to pick up our Christmas tree on Saturday and contemplating a venture to see Macy’s puppet show but I don’t see they’re doing it this year!

Here is our listing for fun holiday events:

Macy’s Santaland: Between 34th and 35th on Broadway. Entrances also available on 7th Avenue and 34th Street, as well as on 34th Street between 7th Avenue and Broadway-Floor 8

Bloomingdales: OnLexington or Third Avenues, between 59th and 60th Streets, 8th Floor in the kids department. M-F: 11am-6pm - S-S: 10am-6pm

ABC Carpet: Broadway at 19th Street, Nov 23, 24 & dec 1, 8, 15 & 22: 10am - 3pm; Nov 25, Dec 2, 9, 16 & 23: 11am - 3pm

Brooklyn’s Children Museum: December 20- part of the museum’s Free Thursdays events. 4-7pm. Photos will cost $7. 

Town Square’s Brunch with Santa: December 8th, JHS 126 - 464 Leonard (Bayard & Manhattan), Brunch is 11-1pm, parade to McCarren 1-2. 

Hanukkah Community Art Festival: At Hannah Senesh Community Day School 342 Smith Street between 1st and 2nd place. F and G trains to Carroll Street. December 2nd 1pm-4pm for ages 2-10. $5 per person

Grand Army Plaza Menorah Lighting – Intersection of Vanderbilt and Flatbush Avenues, December 8-Sunday, December 16 at dusk. Each night of the holiday, the menorah will be lit and revelers can enjoy hot latkes, gifts for the children and live music.
