Liza Dare, our own Brooklyn insider shares her favorite kids picks for fall!

September 30, 2013

Welcome our new kids contributor Liza Dare. Liza will be a monthly contributor where she'll share with us her favorities items from Cute Attack as well as her favotite stores and spots in Greenpoint and Williamsburg.

Liza's picks!

1. Brooklyn Mustache Tee
This is a Cute Attack Best Seller. Kids look adorable with a mustache'd face on their bellies!

2. Peter Pan Collar - The House of Brooklyn Rascals
Polka dots. Reversible. Adorable. I wish these handmade collars came in my size. They are complete any outfit. Try them with stripes!

3. Floral Cat Ears

I might be the designer..but these look amazing on both kids and adults. They're also perfect for Halloween!

4. Munster Kids JD Jacket
This jacket is such a cute attack. You can remove the sleeves to make it a vest. This would look amazing on a boy (matched with pretty much anything) but also I see it on a girl with a dress, cozy circle scarf (coming soon!) and high tops.

5. Hammerhead Rattle
I have a new found love for anything nautical, including this handmade organic cotton rattle! You'll also find Caitlin Wicker's narwhal and penguin sweater toys at the shop.

6. Mysterio Predicts Tee

I'm slightly obsessed with these ridiculous tee's. They are like fortune cookies for babies! Each prediction is more random than the next (Mayor of Hoboken???). They are the perfect shower gift for the friend with a sense of humor.

Liza Dare grew up in Maplewood, NJ where she was a confirmed theater geek and budding fashionista. Having studied theatre in college she went on to work in commercial casting in NYC. In love with her long time neighborhood of East Williamsburg, BK she saw the influx of young families and was inspired to open a store to fulfill their cutest needs. Liza is on a mission to make sure that the neighborhood's tiniest residents are as cute and stylish as their grown up counterparts. Since opening, Cute Attack has been featured in such publications as NY Magazine, Teen Vogue and Brooklyn Magazine.
