DIY Craft : Sew A Letter On It.

January 07, 2013

My sister-in -law gave C the sweetest tee for Christmas. I asked her to send the tutorial our way, I think it’s such a great gift idea. When my son wore it to school this week he was so excited to have his letter on his shirt, knowing it came from his auntie made it extra special!

Bee’s How-to:

1. Download an alphabet template (I used Martha Stewart’s, found here: http://images.marthastewart.com/images/content/web/pdfs/2011Q4/kids-costumes-alphabet-1011mld.pdf).
2. Print and cut out the letter that you would like to use for your shirt.
3. Carefully trace the letter on a piece of heavy-duty felt, then cut it out.
4. Hand-stitch or sew the letter on a shirt, jacket, pillow, scarf, or hat!
yay! easy peasy.
