Family friendly concerts @ Brooklyn Bowl
Did you know there’s been an amazing concert series at Brooklyn Bowl on Sunday mornings filled with awesome indie bands that’s family friendly? Indie music, bloody mary’s, great brunch, local… Need I say more?
The concert series is put on by KidRockers - a mamma owned business that started when Beth Lorge’s kids were little. She & her husband often heard their friends with kids talk about how they didn’t have a lot of access to indie music or a way to see it. So Kid Rockers was born; the concerts have regular shows in NY, LA, Philadelphia & Chicago and feature hip bands parents want to see but structured so the whole family can enjoy. Shows start off with a Q&A with the band, followed by a set (with any profanity removed) and then an opportunity for kids to participate in the show. The shows are hosted by comedians like Seth Herzog & Craig Baldo.
Pricing is great too! $20 for a family of 4 or $8 pp and kids under 2 get in free!
The next show is this Sunday January 27th and features The Cavemen & Har Mar Superstar -hosted by Craig Baldo and Jordan Carlos.
