Sara Moffat from LDBA shares an update with MB!

January 22, 2013

Hi! Sara here from L’Ecole des Beaux Arts! I wanted to give you an update on what is going on with the LDBA  Art School and classes!

  • Classes are being held on weekends at PictureFarm, 338 Wythe Ave. For January we have one class for kids, which is “make your own bows and arrows”.
  •  LDBA is part of a new Father Quarterly called Kindling, and we are having a magazine launch on Sunday the 27th from 2-5pm at Cine-magic studios is Williamsburg. LDBA is in charge of the kid’s play space, and I will have mini classes including drawing, painting, sculpture, as well as face painting. You can also sign up for February and March classes, which include knot tying, textile printing, watercolor, and a master studies painting class (featuring Picasso and Kadinsky). I have wonderful teachers to help, and I’m really excited about all the progress. Hope to see you there!
