I love the idea of having an wardrobe/armoire in a nursery room but most can be insanely expensive. You can easily put your own together with some labor and love. Think out the box when searching flea markets and thrift stores when looking for an old armoire, check that the wood is still in good condition and sturdy. Ikea also has new wardrobes that can easily be pimped up a bit with painted hangers, colorful storage bins, you can even line wallpaper inside to make it more stylish. Also, I have never used milk paint, seems really easy, here is a helpful tutorial on how to paint an armoire with it.
