Auditions for SAB for Free Boys (6 to 10) Ballet Program Coming Up.
This is a pretty cool program that I learned a few years back from my friend Marina when her oldest boy was accepted into the boys program at SAB. The community auditions are free (fee is $35 when done at the school) and for this age group there is no experience necessary. The community auditions are for both boys and girls. If your boy is accepted into the program the program is free, this was started when Peter Martins of New York City Ballet started the boys’ program in 1992 as this is a program where boys always seem to be the minority. Girls can apply for financial aid.
