More on this cool CSA:

The Local Roots CSA has a home this summer at Pencil Factory in Greenpoint and Cubana Social in Williasmburg. We hope you can join us this summer to get your week's worth of groceries all from local and sustainable farms!

Through a CSA, Community Supported Agriculture, you pay all at one time for a season's worth of food from a local farm. Your neighborhood pickup each week is an opportunity to hangout and meet like-minded folks eating just like you! Our CSA is unique because we offer many different food options, from vegetables and fish to eggs, milk, and more. Unlike most CSAs that are a 24-week commitment, the Local Roots CSA is a 12-week commitment with separate summer, fall, and winter seasons. CSAs are a great and convenient way to eat healthy and support our local agriculture and the farmers who are committed to growing sustainably.

Check out their website at www.localrootsnyc.org and place your order by May 18th
