The Deets: 

Baby/Mama Brooklyn (9002 3rd Avenue) Free Family Art Days are opportunities to play, imagine, and explore through a variety of art forms.  Each month, our storytellers present crafts, songs, stories, and creative play around a different theme.  These events are free for the public thanks to the generous donation of Spellbound supporters.

Spellbound Theatre is Brooklyn's only theatre for children ages 0-5.  We are a non-profit organization producing performances and public outreach programs for very young children and their families.

  • The Arnold House & Apple Pond Farm

Throughout April and May, The Arnold House, a Catskills country inn located just two hours north of NYC, is partnering with Apple Pond Farm as they expect the birth of 30-40 lambs and goats this spring. For $25/person, guests can visit the farm for a workshop and farm tour where they will meet these baby animals and learn more about them.

  • Hill Country Brooklyn Fam Jam Sundays 

Bring the whole family to Hill Country Brooklyn for Fam Jam Sundays to enjoy live music, games, face painting, balloon animals, craft stations and corn hole. In addition, Hill Country offers a Fam Jam Kids' Special (1/8 lb brisket, longhorn cheddar mac & cheese and a chocolate chunk cookie for $8.50) and all-day happy hour specials for parents.

  • The New York Botanical Garden

Get outside and active at the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden - a playful space with boulders to climb, a maze to explore and fun hands-on activities led by an energetic staff. For children with blossoming green thumbs, head over to The Edible Academy at The Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden for hands-on gardening lessons, cooking demonstrations and daily kid-friendly activities.

When: The New York Botanical Garden is open 7 days a week from 10am-6pm; The Edible Academy is open 7 days a week from1:30-6pm through October 2015

Pricing: Guests will need to purchase the All-Garden Pass. Adult passes cost $20 on weekdays and $25 on select weekends. Kids (ages 2-12) are $8 and $10 respectively. Free admission for children under 2. Edible Academy activities are free with the All-Garden Pass.
