It is mid September...let me write this one more time...it is MID September! I think my son has been in school all of 6 days which explains why we are feeling frazzled here at Casa Ladd. This month has been all about changes...my boy in shell shock that he is in a new grade, my work load seems to have tripled, Erica has baby #3 on the way...but hey I am not judging how many kids she has (read her post today) no sireee. Busy month but somehow it all is coming together and we are looking forward to apple picking and pumpkins.
Good To Know:
Two moms from the neighborhood just launched Skip Kid, a neighborhood site for Brooklyn (Manhattan coming soon!) where you can find activities by borough for the kiddies from ages 0-3 ( to be honest I found activities that kids up to age 4/5 ish would love). The site works as a daily listing (well maybe not 3 a.m but the hours you are out and about with your lil one) of events and activities that you find by scrolling down to the drop down menu on what part of Brooklyn you wish to find. Once you do this you will get a current and timely listing of activities. This is great if you're out and about, heading to a different part of Brooklyn or just want to plan your day. We'll be doing a post on these savvy moms in the next few weeks we're we'll get to know more about the site however for now check it out as it is pretty impressive.
