5 Creative DIY'S (almost) for Kid's Wall Art.

November 16, 2015

I am still revamping the small nook we have put together in our apartment and the wall is in need of just a few more pieces of art work on the wall. I haven't wanted to spend a ton of $ and luckily the home editor had some old frames from old shoots. This frame (top photo) is repurposed and she used Nate Berkus for Joann's fabric to cover a card board frame. Pretty inexpensive way to make a frame look like it cost more, I added some printable art work and voila an awesome piece of art for a kids nook!

Here are 5 resources on adding cool wall art to your walls:

1. I found this(top photo) printable art from honeytreeprints on Etsy and for a little over $5 it is exactly what I wanted for the frame and room. Etsy is a great resource for an affordable way to obtain an artists illustration.

2. Many mom bloggers are also artists...search pinterest and google for resources. Free printable from Inkstruck.com

3. A bit of a time commitment however this DIY wall art is a room changer. Vintage Revivals

4. Another freebie from Little Inspiration

5. Love this wall banner from Lovely Lark. Unfortunately, the DIY is no longer on the site , however this DIY banner via Breathe Happiness is a great tutorial.
