Kids Week Brooklyn: Maps and Compasses

1:00 p.m.2:30 p.m.

The kids are out of school, now get them out of the house. Head to the park and join the Urban Park Rangers' free “Kids Week” programs. Immerse your kids, and yourself, in the natural world. All are welcome, but programs are geared for ages 12 and under.

On this program, participants will learn how to use a compass and tips for reading maps. Putting these two skills together you will begin to navigate through the park and complete an orienteering adventure.
