Stars.... a family guide to The Night Sky ( Age 4+)

This is a great book if the stars fascinate your child. From learning the force of gravity to shooting stars to designing your own alien this book is a sweet way to have fun teaching your little astronomer. *Small parts not for children under age 3.

This ORQ ( he says "ugh!") ( Age 4-8 years)

My son has been coming home with stories of school shenanigans. Some of the things he tells me that is classmates say to each other seem to lack kindness. I am sort of amazed at what these kids say to each other however kids are kids and I am finding that for our part at home we need to teach our son (more) about being kind. This book shows how Orq, cave boy and Woma his woolly mammoth teach about treating people kindly. It's adorable.

ROBO-SAUCE (Age 4-8)
You may recall that we were big fans of Dragons Love Tacos so it is of no surprise that we are big fans of authors Adam Rubin and Daniel Salmieri's latest picture book ROBO-SAUCE. The book shares that with the top secret Robo-Sauce one can be turned into a robot. Wowzer! The Robo-Antitdoto will help you turn back to a human. Whoosh.

Happy  (Age 2-5)

This sweet book of a poem is a nice swap if you want to add it to the queue of bedtime books. Mother owl protects and loves her baby with all her might. This is one of those books that will stay in the bookshelves for years to come.
