I like leather in the warm weather. Warm not the hot humid 100 degree weather we hit in August because there is very little clothing solutions during that weather. And I know leather is not running around in the park and doing serious house chores kind of clothing but sometimes we need to treat oursleves to that piece that isn’t always kid flexible. What I love about it is I find myself taking if from winter and wearing it often during spring and summer. It dresses up a tee and is low maintenance as far as cleaning . If looking for a leather skirt I find that Zara usually has some buttery color or light weight black skirt under $100 every spring and summer. The above skirt I am wearing was $35 from Beacons Closet which I find impossible to go to when you have a child/children in tow but on those rare moments you are alone it’s worth checking out. I also stick to a neutral palette for those colorful leather days are gone, gone, gone for me. I need to wear it to work or on a rare night out and like most of my clothing choices I want it to last years.
Some of my picks!
