Being married to an artist who often has to ask for money be it a grant or through a Kickstarter campaign I understand why it's important to support artists/designers. Kevin Lindberg has launched a Kickstarter campaign on his cool illustrated alphabet that is both artwork and a teaching tool. Each character is made up of things that start with that letter, creating a multi-layered learning experience for children that is both stimulating and fun. The items in each letter are chosen with the idea that the words would be interesting for a variety of ages. Through this funding a beautifully printed hardcover book will be produced, a high-quality poster of the complete alphabet and an app for the iPad.
