Where to see Santa (in and around our nook of Brooklyn).

It seems every December we have to trek to the city and stand in long lines to see Santa but what about our nook, does Santa visit Brooklyn? The answer is yes (!) and if not exactly in our neighborhood he can be found a short car or train ride away.

Here are some of the places where you can find old St.Nick.

Month of December
The new Brooklyn mall City Point Brooklyn has Santa in the house. Bring the kids to join the fun. 12-6pm, Saturdays & Sundays all month long!

December 3rd, from 12 noon to 5 PM
Santa at The Vander-Ende Onderdonk House
St. Nicholas Day at the Onderdonk House. The Saint returns! Dutch Cultural Event. Visit with St. Nicholas, learn the legend, exhibit, holiday singing, sweets and treats, ornament craft. Donation $5.00, children free.


December 3rd, Christmas Tree Lightning 7 pm

December 9, from 2 to 3 pm
Meet Saint Nicholas on Saturday,
PSFCU McGuinness branch in Greenpoint
(100 McGuinness Blvd, Brooklyn, NY 11222).
Up to age 10

December 10th, from 12 pm to 3 pm
The City Reliquary holiday party on December 10! Kids can meet the big red guy at our annual civic celebration for friends & neighbors.

Admission is a suggested $5 per adult. Free for kids 12 & under. Cookies, milk, and juice boxes for the kids (included w/admission), and "holiday cheer" for grown-ups (a little extra). The City Reliquary will also serve brownies and blondies made with flour from RISE Products, one of the upcycling organizations featured in their NYC Trash! Exhibition.
