This year for summer camps we are going to do things a bit differently and have a running summer camp post. Many camps are starting early with the registration process and it is a bit mind boggling that if you miss the time period for certain camp registration then your back to the drawing board of looking for the best camp for your child (children). We’ll be updating this post frequently and adding summer camps as we are given up to date camp information. Each day we will be working on a structured art project, which we will explore through discussion, projections, video then onto creating! The kids will have free art time to draw/paint as well as meet and share where we will discuss our artwork as well as other art! There will also be outdoor snack time & playtime in the morning at McGolrick Park (weather permitting) and lunchtime in the afternoon. Painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, fiber art and recycled art are just some examples of what the kids will be getting their hands on!
This camp program fills up fast however at this point some additional slots to the preschool camp have been added and there are several slots left in the 3’s program. Unfortunately the 4's are full.
There is also some room in our 7-9's and 10-12's.
At this point it is best to call or go to the Y to check on the status of your child's age group. Don't be afraid of the wait list, we have gotten in to all summer sessions from the wait-list. You can register at the YMCA Greenpoint’s front desk staff. Applications can be downloaded here.

There are only a few days to register for this low cost camp. Deadline is March 15th.

You can only enter your child once, at one site. So choose carefully. Registering more than once may exclude all your applications from the lottery.
All camps offer Regular Day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; select camps offer an Extended Day option from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Regular Day Camp Rate(9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday): $500 per child for 7 weeks
- Extended Day Camp Rate(8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday – Friday): $575 per child for 7 weeks (available at select sites)
