So sad that once again we’ll miss the Maker Faire this year. For whatever reason it always lands on a day we’re booked for. (I’ll be speaking at Schoolfest, come say hi on your way to MF) But that just means you can go and enjoy in our stead. Several of my friends with older kids say this is the event they look forward to every year. The concept is ‘a family fun festival to MAKE, create, learn, invent, CRAFT, recycle, build, think, play & be inspired by celebrating arts, crafts, engineering, food, music, science and technology.’
And in light of this recent WSJ article about character building, the Maker Faire REALLY has it going on. Can’t wait for next year!
Get tickets here before they sell out. It probably will.
