What to buy for birthday parties - year 1
So now you know where to have parties, who to hire, what about what to buy?! Here are my favorite choices for 1st birthday’s.
1) Tomy Hide N Squeak Eggs - My daughter received this inexpensive yet sweet toy and we got tons of milage out of them! Highly recommend these squeaky’s; they teach motor skills, colors and shapes.
2) Plan Toys Pull-Alongs - I love these for 1 year olds. They cause such delight in little ones. We have a snake and snail and they still get used in our house to this day!
3) Bath Toys - Any sort of toy that kids can play with in the bath make a splash at this age. They’re old enough to manipulate them and still love to bath…
4) Dinnerware Sets - Both my children received dinnerware sets from their French grandparents so maybe its just a French thing? Either way - SUPER helpful to have around and encourage independent eating. Also I highly recommend getting some Duralex tumblers and dish ware if you’re avoiding plastic. (You can get them at Caribou Baby now)
