L Train Miracle????
Starting today The L train will have 16 new trains on weekdays, 11 on weekends. Whoohoo! According to the MTA there should be a new train every 3 minutes on weekdays. One of my favorite sites The Brooklyn Paper has stated that ridership has increased 141 percent over the past decade. As a long time resident I can attest to this and its been insane, squeezing into a train especially on mornings I have to drop my son off at emergency daycare. Finally, the MTA heard our grumblings, fingers cross that we will be having less congested rides ahead for all of us.
