*Comics for Kids Workshop with George O’Connor at WORD, 126 Franklin, Greenpoint. Author/illustrator George O’Connor will give a presentation and lead a hands-on workshop for kids on creating comics, as well as present his new ongoing series retelling the classic Greek myths in comics form. Recommended for ages 8+, all ages welcome. 1:30 pm
