I am doing a crazy thing this summer, something I haven’t been able to do much in the last few years. Read! While on vacation I read Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand, really good book about a POW during WWll, it was difficult to read at times however it really gave me a sense of what POW’s went through during this war. I also just finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn quite a dark read and many have loved it. I did think it was a great suspense novel and if you love to be kept on your toes I recommend it. Now I am about to start Motherland by Amy Sohn. It is about five parents from Park Slope and the description is that it is about these parents, elite schools and chi chi food. How will I feel about reading book about Brooklyn? Will I like it? Be irritated? I’ll keep you posted!
