I just LOVE that this email ended up in my inbox! WNNS is having a family dance party! Get your tickets today because I know this will sell out!

The Williamsburg Neighborhood Nursery School (“WNNS”) announces that it will host The Beach Ball a family dance party that is open to the public on Saturday, March 10th! The event will take place from noon to 3pm at Warsaw, 261 Driggs Avenue (between Leonard and Eckford Streets). DJ E-I-O will spin family friendly tunes for a fun-filled event that will feature: crafts, activities, a book fair (hosted by WORD, Greenpoint’s independent bookstore), hula-hoops and beach balls, limbo contests, and more! Tickets can be purchased at http://thebeachball.eventbrite.com.or at the door:  $10 per adult, $5 per child, pre-walkers are free. Refreshments, drinks, and lunch will be available for purchase.

All proceeds will benefit WNNS in order to increase their ability to serve middle and low-income families in the neighborhood. WNNS is a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Funds raised will help WNNS to continue to provide young children with an environment that combines the social and intellectual stimulation of school with the nurturance and safety of home.

The Williamsburg Neighborhood Nursery School was founded in 1999 to serve families with young children in the Williamsburg and Greenpoint communities.  WNNS is a grass roots and not-for-profit enterprise. Our program is guided by the principals of progressive education, and within our classrooms we foster a cooperative, democratic learning community.
