Chic Mama

November 14, 2011

I’ve always prided myself on being able to get dress in a creative fashion however I can honestly say I have lost my mojo a bit. Especially with getting everyone out the door in the mornings I have about 10 minutes to get dressed for the day.

I make these storyboards for work, sort as a goal/reminder of the look I am trying to achieve when I am trying to explain myself in meetings. This look is more personal and seems to have become a bit of my look for fall. What I like about it is that it is a no brainer. I just throw it on, add some cheap jewelry and I am out the door.  I could kick myself for not keeping all the Equipment blouses I wore in my twenties but luckily silk (and other fabrication) blouses are plentiful this season from Banana Republic, H&M to Jcrew. The same goes for the wide legged look, I have found Under $100 as well as Under $25 . Arm Candy can be found in our neighborhood vintage stores such as Orange Marmalade and has lasting potential or you can go online and find some pieces for at  $25 or less at  $10.
